The issue of Jammu and Kashmir from Pakistan is constantly being raised on international forums and there has been disappointment in their hands from all sides. Now, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has also expressed frustration with Pakistan.
Guterres says the Jammu and Kashmir issue will be resolved through dialogue within India-Pakistan interiors. The UN Secretary-General has refused to mediate on the issue and said in response that India will say so.
The issue was raised against Antonio Guterres from Pakistan's representative Maliha Lodhi in the United Nations. Now, a statement from Antonio Guterres spokesman Stefan Dujarek has been given that India-Pakistan should be protected from any kind of aggression and the two countries should bring their views on Kashmir to a bilateral dialogue.
Stéphane Dujarric, Spox for UN Secretary-General on Kashmir: Our position on mediation has always remained the same. Secretary ‑ General has had contacts with both Govt of Pakistan & Govt of India. He saw PM of India at the sidelines of the G7.He had spoken to Pak Foreign Minister. pic.twitter.com/qYFHVjXMgN
